College Life!

HI! :D

Alright so I’m already in college. Wow.
I am currently taking Diploma in Broadcasting at IACT college, June intake.

Well, I was expecting college life to be a drag and more stressed out because well, most of my friends started college in the January and March intakes. They sure look stressed out and tired each and everyday coping with assignments and examinations. But here in IACT college, everyone is like stress-free. It’s as if we’re not even studying.

So okay, IACT has a variety of diploma courses:
Advertising, Broadcasting, Creative Multimedia, Graphic Design & Mass Communication.

The reason I took Broadcasting was because I am more towards a street smart, meaning I am definitely better at practical work compared to theory. Was actually opting for Mass Comm. but after getting more counselling about which course I should take, they suggested Broadcasting, because Mass Comm. is more to journalism and writing and all the theory stuff, so yea.

Anyways, let me start of with the subjects I’m taking for my first semester. Nothing in depth about broadcasting yet.

Advertising Principles
Communication English 103
Computer Graphics
Creative Thinking
Mass Communication
Presentation Skills

All semester one students of every course has to take those subjects. So I’m basically stuck in a class of 40 people.
Yea, I’ve made many many new friends. They are definitely going to be appearing here most of the times.
I’ll start with the people whom I constantly hang out with for now.

MABEL! :D

This is Mabel. Haha, she doesn’t always look like that, but I like this picture, so I’m putting it up anyways.
She’s really wild and hyper most of the time, but she loves to keep her image la. She’s a year older than me, treat her like a big sister.
Love talking with her and disturbing/annoying her.

SHOM! :D

This is my gay partner in college. Haha, when I first knew her, she was super shy and quiet to the maximum.
But I’ve finally unleashed her inner self. Now she is as high,  hyper and noisy as I am. I think I influenced her too much. Ahaha.

CARMEN! :D

This is Carmen. She’s a nice person to hang out with. She is seriously like my planner. She constantly reminds me of the assignments that I have to hand in and she helps me burn my Computer Graphics assignment all the time. She’s funny to kacau at the same time as well.

CHRISTINE! :D

Okay, so she’s two years older than me. Whenever I go eat with her, she treats me like her kid. She puts vegetables on my plate.
Hmm, she usually drives us to our destination. She is also fat. :D

YAN WEN! :D

Okay, so she doesn’t study at IACT, but she hangs out with us a lot. She’s Christine’s house-mate and she studies at HELP, cause I believe she needs a lot of help. She’s cool. She’s my kononnya ‘owner’, and I’m her puppy. Treat her like the older sibling I’ve never had. We’re practically on call almost every night. I love talking to her. I love hanging out with her as well.
There’s only one word to describe her: AWESOME.

Well, anyways, that’s all for now.
